This unique monodrama has been chosen to participate in the International Monodrama Festival as part of the Kuwait Capital of Islamic Culture 2016. The monodrama festival, performances by solo artists, will present over 12 productions from all over the world between 16-23 April. Directed by international actor and director Abdulaziz al Haddad, the role of British explorer and author (Dame) Freya Stark on her visit to Kuwait in 1937 is portrayed by Alison Shan Price. This production has taken two years to complete as details of Freya’s original letters, photographs and books are the basis for this unique show.
