Ask the parents to come with medical Insurance, before issuing visa.So the govt. need not give medical insurance to the parents. This way the parents can come.

  3. Agree with you! Nobody hold anyone here. You can't come to a country and demand what you think is right. If you are so unhappy here or Kuwait is so "cruel " as one mentioned here – then go and find another country to work and to live in.

  4. I as an individual chose to come and work in Kuwait as the money being offered to me was and still is greater than I would earn in my own country, I did not come to Kuwait so I could bring my mother and father or my brother and sister at a later stage, I came to work. When my family want to come visit they apply for a visit visa and pay for HEALTH INSURANCE prior to their departure just like any other VISITOR. Now If they wanted to come and work then they would need to do the whole residence process. Where is there any confusion here, like I said previously, if you do not want to accept it then go back to your country of origin.

  5. Katia Airoldi If you actually thought about what you were saying you would realize that the person that made the comment said that parents should be allowed into the country but their healthcare doesn't need to be free. Which would have the same effect as not letting them in altogether.

  6. Rodica Ghetu says:

AVENUES OR OTHER FANCY MALLS WILL BE JUST A HISTORY

  7. Rodica Ghetu says:

Kuwait , you are going to pay for your cruelty so badly and the first sign is that , the oil prices! ! Let's say after less than a year you will need international helping but no one will give it to you for your bad behaviour! YOU WILL START TO STRUGGLE AND YOUR EGO WILL FALL APART, VERY SOON YOU WILL REMEMBER MY WORDS

  8. You guys misleading the issue, I don't like people are bashing and throwing up a bad words to each of you/us. Kuwait government only to suspend the dependent visa that's all you know here in kuwait decision is always changing so we just wait and the next day or month it will be back don't worry for us who work here remember we have rights. But right now just don't complain… It will not affects our job here

  9. Huh without Expats they will die.

  10. Anonymous says:

have very good offer with KNPC, but my mom is dependent. Now, will have to think twice on that. It is really pity to see this. Could have been an another solution than this to overcome high costing on account of parents of expats.

  11. Naveen Kumar says:

Lol kuwait … is getting too possessive of its own

  12. @Shawn Olson – I do agree with you too. Who is asking them to run a charity. We are askinv them to just ease on us expats. They are charging us on every aspect and yet…!!!!

  13. @Shawn Olson – I do agree with you too. Who is asking them to run a charity. We are askinv them to just ease on us expats. They are charging us on every aspect and yet…!!!!

  14. I have been living in Kuwait now for a number of years and when I am no longer happy with the decisions being made by the Government of Kuwait, I will leave. This is one of the great choices we have and it is available to us all. I think I will be hanging around for a few years more as I see no real issues with the intended plans to implement change as I personally only see good things coming from them.
We are not being asked to agree with them, just accept them !!

  15. Pamy PC says:

Please people have you forgotten that Kuwat has given you work. Because you couldn't find work in your own countries! !! So stop the fucking complaining!! And appreciate that you have a job! And if you dont like it leave!!!!!

  16. Tety samesh… so its my fault of being a qualified professional? Go back to your country and you will face the same … so would I… I come from a middle class family… difference is I struggled hard to get to what I am now. Don't be foolish in thinking you are the victim.

  17. Ghawas Munir says:

  18. Faizan Ahmed says:

Soon the kuwaities Living in other countries will be Ignored and treated in a way like they are with expatriates!

  19. Ammar Mirza says:

Most of the income of Kuwait is generated due to the efforts of expats, Kuwaitis only provide with capital…………so the expats also have right on the income of the country….

  20. @ Shawn Olson, I agree with you 100%.

  21. If im i will not cancel dependent visa. Then i will give them to some options. Just think. What will happen if other people start a strike or struggle for dis matter? 30% kuwaiti nationals live in dis country 70% are expatriates 🙂

  22. I think you are out of proportion now because your country steal from you an treat you badly its right to get advantage of other places which dont and make it sound right? What about if u were in the opposite position you will like all world get advantage of ur benefit? II don't think so at all!

  23. Prasad Durga says:

Mdm I think u need to call fire office

  24. Shawn Olson says:

It's their money to spend as they please. They aren't running a charity for non citizens.Broke or not they have to look out for their own .

  25. Shawn Olson says:

What sins? You are here of your own fee will.

  26. Shawn Olson says:

Kuwait had been very generous in the past to foot the bill to these elderly people that have not contributed to the country. I once was given an injection for a health issue, the cost of that injection was 700 kd.The Dr. told me that the injection is given to all those who need it, from the street sweeper onwards. I don't doubt that the medical costs of these elderly people is 1500 or even 15000. People get sick when they are old.People need to understand Kuwait does not have the responsibility to care for the aging of other countries.

  27. Madam. Do u love ur parents? If u in others situation? What is ur decision? All ways think there is two side. In dis country how many people live wuth there parents? 10% may be. Its not a big beal for like dis country. 1st go and stay in india, nepal, pakistan like countrys u will feel how is da life and what is da life. We all humans.

  28. I mean for parents…visit visa should be for long period.

  29. Syed Shah says:

Allah Bless Kuwait. They should pay forparents.

  30. The decision of an expatriate to be here in Kuwait when his/her parents are old and need to taken care of should be in favor of parents. The government can take measures to limit the medical facilities provided to dependent expatriates, instead of completely banning parents to be with their children during the old age. Personally, I feel it is morally not right.

  31. Tety Samesh says:

dear you have money and your point of you are defferent…this is affected people who are not enough money to live here……

  32. Not for Us filipinos,,,mostly filipinos here with there kids not a parents,,,and if we have a parent here they are working as well so,,not for Us taking advantage those free medical treatment,,,,they must have a specific survey so that they know which nationality they will implement this kind of law.

  33. Vusit visa should be for longer period….say one year to five year..!

  34. You might not have understood. They dont want to give parents of expat the residence coz most of them bring their parents here to take advantage on free medical system. This is the point. And ita right… what therefore since Sonia Ghandi is italian do i have the right to go for example to Apollo Medical and get treated for free on the pocket of the indian national? Ohh plz…

  35. This is right. You cant depend on another country to get treated FOR FREE because YOUR COUNTRY does not treat you! Right choiche!

  36. Being an expat I believe that whatever happens it's for the best… I support kuwait because kuwaot isn't what it was 10 or 20 years ago… The same with any country… It isn't the same as it was… more then these petty issues we expats should be glad we are able to practice our religion peacefully and thank the mps of kuwait for promoting peace and not hatred. Expats… grow up… There are bigger issues kuwait's neighbors are facing and we should be thankful everyday of our lives that we live in a democratic country like kuwait. Before you throw a stone think twice. If I am working in a top notch company in kuwait it's because my grandparents and my parents were allowed to work here. And the holy book have given us the birth right authority of 1 day off… that should be enough. These are my views.

  37. Kuwait Is not good for expats now a days.,,,So cruel,,,You dont have a heart sir implementing This kind of law maybe you're a parents as well You feel what Is the feeling as a parent working hard here in This country and we are apart to Our love ones,,,,.

  39. Shirley Rego says:

They charge kd 200 for their residence.

  40. Azaan Bahar says:

Seriously…!! as if they can survive without us some day they will pay for all their sins

  41. Yea, because when your company sends you to Kuwait for a contract you shouldn't dare think about keeping your dependent mother or grandmother with you. Just leave them to someone else, and if you have no one else to leave them with in America then just fuck you, quit your job. Or is this also jinciya specific?

  42. Oil prices are dropping.

  43. They are really nonsense people and expect such decision from them shame

  44. As if Kuwait is going broke. LOL

  45. Nizami Naz says:

Really Pity Kuwait.. So you want only slaves… slaves must be like machine.. good keep it up. U r spending KD 15000 for their medical treatment.. lol is that big issue for you?? If so stop free medical for parents but allow us to live with them..

  46. Nizami Naz says:

  47. How about the old ones that have already dependant visa?

  48. Hussam Asaad says:

Slavory will be ,, they want slaves to make of expats and more to come ,,, they should look to other GCC how they treat expats, first they increase salaries before they ask for charges

  49. Pls..kuwait your so cruel..so what is your next implemented law, that no expat…to eter again in Kuwait?
