New rules for jobs (Hiring) in Kuwait
Manpower Public Authority is currently in the process of preparing new regulations concerning the recruitment of Kuwaiti citizens in the private sector, reports Al-Anba daily quoting reliable sources.
They indicated that these new regulations include the need to consider the qualifications of the Kuwaiti citizens for their designation and the type of job they will be provided when they join the private sector.
The sources explained that the concerned department in Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, in coordination with Public Institution for Social Security, will issue an insurance certificate for the national personnel working in private sector starting from the date of their data registration in order to protect their rights. In case any company commits a violation in this regard, the concerned department will submit a report to the concerned officials so that necessary legal procedures can be taken.
They revealed that 90 percent of the national personnel whose subsidy was suspended have managed to modify their status and obtain work permits, adding that the authority has taken precautionary procedures to control fake transactions particularly related to governmental projects.
