The Ministry of Interior is preparing a database who visit the country and who carry an electronic visa as part of the security measures adopted by the country to protect Kuwait’s security, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to the security sources all border ports automatically take the fingerprints of the visitors, save them in the database and match them with the automated fingerprints of those who are wanted by law and stored in the Interior Ministry’s computer network.
This move will prevent persons wanted by law from entering the country even if they arrive at the airport under fictitious names.
It is said the Criminal Evidences Department is currently working on electronic fingerprinting project for citizens and expatriates and people wanted by law and those banned from entering Kuwait
