A Kuwaiti woman who was wanted by law as she was sentenced to four-year imprisonment almost 20 years ago was arrested recently.
According to security sources, officers of Sentences Enforcement Department rushed to the residence of a Kuwaiti woman who was sentenced to four-year imprisonment in a cheating case in 1998 but had escaped arrest for almost 20 years by disappearing.
Investigations led by the officers resulted in the discovery of her location. They arrested the fugitive and referred her to the Sentences Enforcement Department for necessary legal action.
