Aliya Cycon is an American composer, pianist, and the first female oud player to graduate from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Recently, she toured Tunisia and Amman as a Cultural Ambassador for the United States.
Her unique blend of styles and cultural bridging has earned her many performances around the world.
In this concert, Aliya is accompanied by LAPA’s ensemble to perform some of her original Arabic inspired songs, in addition to re-arranged songs of the region!
