Asian woman died in a fire that engulfed an apartment in Salmiya area. According to security sources,

when the Control Room of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) received information about the fire, firefighters rushed to the location and discovered that the fire engulfed an apartment on the first floor of a residential building.

Firefighters rescued all tenants who were trapped inside the vehicle and discovered the corpse of the Asian woman. The corpse was referred to the Forensics Department while the injured victims were referred to Mubarak Hospital for treatment.

Investigations were launched to determine the cause of the fire. KFSD has revealed that several violations were noted in the apartment including partition of rooms using gypsum boards.
